    Countryside Christian Church believes

Countryside Christian Church recognizes the desire of God to save people for eternity. Our faith rests in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus the only begotten Son of God. We believe that Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sins. We believe Jesus is alive today, the Miracle of miracles! Therefore we believe He has the power and authority to direct and save our lives. Indeed, the Bible says the Son of God will give eternal life to those who put their faith in Him and obey His commands.

Jesus proclaims the authority of the Bible. For Him it is the everlasting word of God. Time and again He says scripture must be fulfilled. The scriptures are clear and they are satisfying and comforting to our innermost thoughts. The devil would try to convince us that faith is useless; but the Holy Spirit inspired scriptures comfort and encourage us with the promises of God.
NIV 2 Peter 3:9 9The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

Jesus commanded his apostles to spread the good news of salvation everywhere.
NIV Matthew 28:19-20 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
The apostle Paul validates his work with these words:
NJB Acts 13:47 For this is what the Lord commanded us to do when he said: I have made you a light to the nations, so that my salvation may reach the remotest parts of the earth.
Countryside Christian Church desires to be is a messenger of God in this local community.

Jesus commanded people repent and be baptized, change from their willful lives and be saved from their sins. The Bible message is consistent. The repentant believer is to be baptized in the Name of Jesus. The new Christian is to maintain and grow in the faith so he too can share the good news of Jesus. If Jesus had commanded something else, that is what we would preach and teach. As it is, we preach and teach what the Bible clearly says.
NIV Acts 2:38-42 :38 Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off-- for all whom the Lord our God will call." 40 With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, "Save yourselves from this corrupt generation." 41 Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day. 42 They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

Both hymns and contemporary Christian music keep us singing the praises of our Lord in worship services and through the week.

The Lord's Supper is shared at all our worship services so any believer in Christ might honor the Lord and remember that Jesus died to save us.

Christian Education Hour has classes for all ages are designed to encourage and strengthen our faith in God and love for our neighbors.

Youth groups provide wholesome and enriching times of devotion and times of play that lead young people where they can truly enjoy life the way God meant it to be.

Our local and foreign missions programs support local, national, and international efforts of evangelism and compassion.

Special programs and fellowship groups help us bond with and enjoy God's people.

Families, neighborhoods, businesses, schools, cities, states, and countries are all in need of the influence that God wants you to have. Countryside Christian would love to have you share its life and ministry to all these groups. God already has so loved the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
